At the age of 76, my few remaining upper teeth became insufficient and eating a normal diet more difficult. The drawbacks of using traditional dentures meant they were not attractive to me, so after discussion with Dr Chawich I agreed to have an upper set of implanted dentures. The processes were fully explained with many illustrations of previous operations, and were duly performed over about 9 months from insertion of 5 implants to final fitting of the upper denture (implant-supported Bridge). At all times, I was very impressed by the care provided by my dentist and his assistants and the detailed guidance following surgical procedures. I was pleasantly surprised that the drilling of the implants was completely painless. I am very pleased with the result of my treatment, the denture feels very firm and natural, I can now eat a normal diet, my appearance has obviously improved and I can confidently laugh and smile. It has made a big difference to me and I would certainly recommend this treatment by Dr Chawich to anyone in a similar position who is considering Dental Implants.

I have been Dr Chawich’s patient for about 10 years and have always had excellent treatment from him. Both routine maintenance and some complex treatments have been carried out with great skill and efficiency. He has given me some excellent composite veneers which I am very pleased with as they look very natural. I would highly recommend him as a dentist.

It is wonderful to eat on the other side of my mouth again. You are so good and careful and particular at what you do, which gives me the comfort I need. I would like to recommend the dental work I have received from Dr Wassim Chawich. I needed 5 teeth replacing and went to see Wassim for a consultation. He put me at my ease and explained the options, timeframes and stages in the process. I had one dental implant (front tooth) by Wassim Chawich, which was finished in December 2015. I would like to say what a wonderful job he has done. It was not the most pleasant of experiences, but definitely worth it in the end. He was extremely conscientious about hygiene at all times and explained the procedure clearly to make me feel at ease.

Hello Wassim, Right from the very beginning I could not fault the professionalism, care or communication shown. To say I was a little apprehensive would be an understatement, especially when it was clear that I would need a sinus lift (and plenty of stitches in my mouth!) before the implant work could start. Dear Wassim, Thank you so much for coming down last Thursday 31st to complete my new teeth. They are absolutely amazing and feel so natural already, and the bite is perfect too. C*** and S*** have just forwarded it to me now. I have since been on holiday in Greece and had a wonderful time and, thanks to the new teeth, eating and tasting food was a real delight after all these years. It’s taken a couple of weeks but I am now talking properly without my tongue getting in the way. The teeth feel very natural and it is an amazing difference from the denture. I have purchased a Karcher jet washer and spend more time keeping them free of plaque and clean. I am also having more hygiene appointments this year. I had dental implant treatment which also included a gum and bone graft, completed about 6 months ago. I waited to do this review so that I could give honest feedback on how I have managed with the implants. I have had no issues at all — in fact, they just feel like my own teeth. Very happy with my implant. From the very start, when my tooth broke apart after I accidentally bit hard on an olive stone, Wassim professionally removed the fragments and, over the next treatments, rebuilt the bone, installed an implant, and finally fitted a crown to match the neighbouring teeth. I can now enjoy eating again.
