Over the years, Dr Chawich has gained extensive experience across both hospital and general dental practice settings. His last UK hospital job was a Staff Grade in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
In 2006, Dr Chawich was awarded Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MFDS RCS Eng). He further advanced his expertise by obtaining a Certificate in Surgical and Prosthodontic Implantology from the Eastman Dental Institute, UCL, in 2008.
He subsequently completed a four-year, part-time specialist training programme in Prosthodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute, UCL, in 2012. This led to the award of a Master of Clinical Dentistry (MClinDent) in Prosthodontics, along with Membership in Restorative Dentistry (MRD RCS Eng).
Dr Chawich is registered on the General Dental Council Specialist List as a Specialist in Prosthodontics. He provides a full range of prosthodontic treatments, from routine cases to complex full-mouth rehabilitation, including implant dentistry, fixed and removable prostheses, and aesthetic treatments. He has a particular interest in the surgical aspects of implantology and oral surgery.
He accepts referrals for prosthodontic assessment and treatment, as well as advanced implant and surgical procedures, including sinus augmentation, block bone grafting, soft tissue grafting, and inferior alveolar nerve repositioning.
Dr Chawich also provides conscious sedation (oral and intravenous) to support the treatment of anxious and phobic patients.
